samba 2 smbpasswd + ldap - not binding properly
...;m really seeing is the bind for nss
lookup of the the passwd entry and smbpasswd isn't attempting to bind at
all..
I've been scanning the samba list for days and haven't seen any solutions, so
if someone could help me out I would appreciate it.

permissions modified on shared excel files
...windows client the permissions are 0744. Thus the next access
by a group user cannot write the file.
No mask options are specified in the smb.conf so all defaults are being used.
Is there a reason why the permissions are being changed when a file is saved?

Custom Quotas

Dovecot. I'm quite happy to write plugin to handle updating the quota in our
system, but I have no idea where to start. Any information you could provide
on updating a quota in a third party system would be much appreciated.

signing_good: BAD SIG: seq 1 & SMB Signature verification failed on incoming packet!
When winbind is started I get the following log messages:
signing_good: BAD SIG: seq 1
SMB Signature verification failed on incoming packet!
After extensive googling the only reference I find is that my kerberos might
be too old. (using krb 1.2.4). Can someone confirm is this a bug in kerberos
or a bug in samba. If the later is there a workaround or do I have to
upgrade to new kerberos?
