Mac OS X client problem with supplementary groups
I have a very simple Samba 3.0.1 install without LDAP/ADS/winbind
support compiled into it. I have noticed a strange problem with
supplementary groups I noticed with Mac OS X (10.3.2). The SAMBA
server is using 'ntdomain' authentication.
When someone connects to the SAMBA server and gives their username in
uppercase (the OS's default), then none of the secondary UNIX groups

I'm trying to replace an old Windows 2000 server that is current set up with a number of open anonymous shares used by a legacy application that must remain in production for a few more years. Dear all,
We are trying to install a new Samba server to replace the old one and
support Windows 7 clients. But it doesn't work !
When we try to register a machine into th domain, it seems to be
accepted by the client but we find these messages in samba logs :

can't figure out A) where that byte sequence is coming from (our Exchange
server, Tornado.net's exchange server, or one of the two of our external
spam filtering service... they use BigFish.com, and we use MxLogic), or B)
