NUT testing for v2.8.3 (hopefully imminent)
...ake
dist, (on NetBSD 10) and then used that tarball as the source for
pkgsrc, built a package, installed it on machine with a Best Fortress
(NetBSD 9), rebooted, and both upsc and a program that uses the pyNUT
interface code seem fine.
So I see no problems. (Of course, I always like there to be a multiday
interval from rc to release so I don't mean to hurry you. Just that it
looks good to me.)

Heroku - Event_Calendar - preventing assets precompile
My App is hosted currently on Heroku, and I attempted to use
elevation/event_calendar <https://github.com/elevation/event_calendar> to
display events because it supported multiday events. I had it working
locally and looking great, but when I tried to push it to the server, it
caused error during the assest precompile. This in turn brought the whole
site down. I had to roll back a few hours of work to get the site live
again. Anyone else having/had a similar issue or fou...

NUT testing for v2.8.3 (hopefully imminent)
Sorry, that was one mishap layered onto another - the "v2.8.3-rc1" tag was
supposed to point to the same commit as what I originally hoped was
"v2.8.3"... but did not - instead initially pointed to what would land to
`master` among its fixes for a cleaner release. Hopefully tags are
correctly refined on GitHub repo now, at least.

Synthesize low batt (LB) fron SNMP UPS which doesnot support this?
...phone in 3 or 4 years, & the controller died a few
months back so the label got changed from generac to kohler, same 20kw
rating. So I have more than $10k usd in it now, but you should be able
to src a smaller one if the AC is not in the picture for quite a bit
less. I've had several multiday outages here, plus the 15 minute weekly
test so the generac still has the synth oil I put in it to assure cold
weather starting, and 157 hours on its clock. Its currently sitting in
the back yard, needing a controller or this one fixed, if you are local
to northern WV, USA, $5k and a hoist wil...
