Hi there something strange is going on on my server. Everytime when i am on a samba share the server starts another smbd but i dont want that this happens! ...cause of an evaluation at different dates. What happens is that unique eliminates also those shops names which appear only ones in bigshopdata but twice or more often in shopdata. But that is not what I want to. I'm only interessted in multiple appearance in bigshopdata not in an possible multible appearance in the original data.farme. How can I use unique to get what I want? This is a call for comments, regarding what you do expect when copying multible source tree roots leading to the same directory root, using rsync. This problem may be discussed now, because in versions before rsync-2.5.6, the algorithm for removing the so called "duplicated files" was broken. That's why we expect nobody used it anyway in earlier versions - but...
