Has anyone else had an issue with the font in Firefox? In particular, the font up on the toolbar, buttons, and any text that you type in on a website? I recently installed Firefox (mostly so I can access pages that require the most recent version of Flash) and I get an italicized font with a clear line through the middle of it in the locations I mentioned. It's readable, but just barely.

I have followed the support messages (both archived and current) to try to correct the problem. I have installed the universe/multiverse backports. I have installed the msttcorefonts package. Hi all, We have a user that would like to create pdf plots using the Arial font. One way for her to do this is to use the Cairo graphics device which produces pdf's beautifully and embeds fonts automatically. She could also install the msttcorefonts package from ubuntu to obtain the Arial font. The problem is that she is using Sweave() to produce a document that contains the pdf plots, and Sweave() calls pdf() rather than Cairo() to generate the pdfs, so my questions to the list are: 1) Does anyone know if Sweave() has a way to "swap...

PageMaker was running OK (except duplex printing wrong) on 0.9 wines. With RC1 & RC3 (didn't try RC2) PageMaker starts to open, cycles my scanner (???), and quits. I went back to 0.9.61-1 all is well again. Any thoughts? I did a reinstall of PM, but it had no effect.
