See
the call to dlopen() in _get_plugin() in audio_out.c, line 101 or
thereabouts.
Any ideas what's going on? I have not the knowledge to deal with this.
Also, I'm not currently subscribed to vorbis-dev (though I am to vorbis),
so if any replies could be cc'd: deg3@msstate.edu, it would be much
appreciated.

dnorm and qnorm
Hello all,
I have a question about basic statistics. Given a PDF value of 0.328161,
how can I find out the value of -0.625 in R? It is like reversing the dnorm
function but I do not know how to do it in R.

samba domain controller + Windows 2000

That's all the relevent information I can think of. Any help in solving this problem is appreciated.

[Flac-users] Linux OGG-FLAC player?
...les that I've ripped from a cd (with .ogg
extension), but it appears that the standard XMMS flac plugin doesn't
support them. What should I use on Linux to play these files (and,
possibly, tag them)?
Thanks in advance.

Mail archive search is now up
There's now a list search on the xiph.org website for the vorbis and
vorbis-dev mailing lists. The search can be found on each list's
master monthly index (eg,
http://www.xiph.org/archives/vorbis/masterindex.html)
It's a Perl CGI on an underpowered box, so no bitching about speed :-)

Request for support: add Vorbis to RioVolt CD player
I just recently got myself the SonicBlue RioVolt Mp3/WMA CD player, which
has upgradeable firmware.
I've sent a request to:
customersupport@diamondmm.com
asking them to add support for Ogg Vorbis in the next release of their
firmware, so that it will be able to read Ogg CDs
and display its tags properly.
It would be great if others could e-mail the same address and ask for the
