Playing around MSNs
Let's say I have 3 IP phones (A, B, C) and 3 MSNs (1, 2, 3). How can I define that the incoming MSN 1 is redirected to A, 2 to B and 3 to C ? And how can I define that the A phone uses the outgoing MSN 1, etc ? Actually, I'm using the CAPI channel driver, but any help is welcome. MSNs don't work for me... :(
Hi, My * server is running FreeBSD. The wonderful isdn4bsd with chan_capi port by hselaski works great, everything is perfect in a perfect world... but ! These [@$!#] MSNs don't work at all ! My extensions.conf is very simple for my 5 MSNs (0353, 0416, 0618, 0619 and 0620) : [rnis-in] exten => 0353,1,Answer() exten => 0353,2,Dial(SIP/600,,m) exten => 0353,3,Hangup exten => 0416,1,Dial(SIP/603) exten => 0416,2,Hangup exten => 0620,1,Dial(SIP/6...

chan_capi-cm, Euro ISDN bus: 2 extensions on same BRI port not working
Hello, I am using a system with an AVM ISDN PCI card (fcpci) and asterisk with chan_capi-cm-0.6. The hardware is connected to a Siemens Hipath 3550 PBX. As a BRI connection has 2 channels and allows 2 simultaneous calls, numbers/MSNs 6391 and 6392 were for provisioned for each channel. The system is working (partly, read on), the trick is the correct cable wiring and setup the PBX's port as "S0 Euro Bus". Calls from asterisk to PBX are working ok, really nice! But calls from PBX to asterisk are partly working....

Multiple ISDN controllers & Capi
Hi, how can I set up multiple ISDN controllers with chan_capi, so that every controller has its own configuration (MSNs to listen etc...) ? I know I can configure "controllers=1,2" in chan_capi's capi.conf but then the controllers have the identical configuration and context within asterisk. My setup: I have 2 BRI-controllers (in one AVM C2). 1. BRI: point-to-point, Number: 101-xxx (3 digit extensi...

How to let ZAPHFC work with and act on different incoming MSNs?
Hi all, I'm struggling some time now with this problem. Googling and searching on this topic did not deliver the answer yet, so my last hope is this list. Analogue to the things which are possible with modem.conf, where I can configure the MSN's to act on, I would like to have similar functionality. This is the idea: I have 1 ISDN line, it can be reached by 4 different MSN's. I have

Submitting ISDN-MSN from a SIP-Phone
...hones which i can call from outside by calling the phonenumber of the Asterisk-Server and then dialing the number of the SIP-Phone. If I make a call from a SIP-Phone into PSTN, only the MSN of the asterisk-server is submitted, without the extension of the SIP-Phone. I tried to give Asterisk several MSNs in "capi.conf" and to dial in "extension.conf" like the following: exten => _0.,1,Dial(CAPI/@<ASTERISK-MSN><SIP-EXTENSION>:${EXTEN}) This was just for testing, so i used a fix <SIP-EXTENSION>, but just the <ASTERISK-MSN> was submitted. Is there a way...

do not pickup/ignore msn functionality
Hi, I was trolling through the archive to see if it was possible for asterisk to ignore certain MSNs. I have a AVM Fritz/BRI with two MSNs: 7770001 and 7770002. I would like asterisk (with chan_capi) to ignore 7770001 such that a regular phone on the bus will ring; calls for 7770002 should be picked up by asterisk. I configured msn=7770002 incomingmsn=* within capi.conf and figured this would d...

chan_capi-cm 0.6.4 random outgoing MSN problem
I've having a big problem after having upgraded to 1.2.4 and chan_capi-cm 0.6.4 When making outgoing calls I don't seem to have any control over the CLI that is presented to the called party -- it can be any one of the MSNs allocated to the line, allocated on what seems to be a random basis. This is on a BT Business Highway line (which is essentially an ISDN2e line with two built-in analog ports), configured with 8MSNs alongside the single the "master" digital telephone number for the line. With a much...

Advice on BT ISDN Services (UK)
Hi all, I've been playing about with Asterisk for years now on and off, just SIP to SIP calls, using FWD and suchlike. I'm moving house at the beginning of September and have decided to build an Asterisk based system for my home office. I'm in the UK and wonder if anyone can give me advice on lines and hardware to use. Had planned to go with an ISDN2e line coupled with a BT

How to make * don't strip the leading 0
Hi folks! Is it possible to tell asterisk not to strip the leading 0 of *incoming* MSNs? I use asterisk with i4l and whenever I get a call from an long-distance party, the leading 0, which should be there according the german numbering, is not. So if I get a call from a mobile phone 0177-1234567 should be displayed, but 177-1234567 is displayed. I double checked if I've forgotten...

mISDN + chan_misdn.so + winbond issue
...6692 1 cards installed Jun 5 20:26:34 pbx kernel: MISDN free_device: entitylist not empty Am I using wrong or incompatible source versions or is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? Btw the misdn.conf contains: [general] language=en immediate=no debug=0 [mycard] context=incoming ports=1,2 msns=72 Using ports=1 or ports=2 or changing msns gives the same problems.. When you have a working configuration, I am curious which source versions of needed packages you have used. Thank you in advance for your response. Best regards, Michel Koenen

Asterisk ISDN: Problem Setting CallerID as DID Extension Numbers.
...pto BAAAAAA17, but for numbers from extentions 20 onwards I get a 'msn not found! check your config error'. Can anyone please shed somelight on whether this is really possible (to be able to send DID numbers as caller ID when dialling out)? I have read some posts indicating more than 5 msns is not possible, but in my case I have definetely got it working with more than 5 msns atleast. No source clearly indicated if this is possible, and if yes, how. Thanks for you time. -r -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... asterisk misdn incoming line not working.
...ntext 'default', but no invalid handler 087822291 is the number i dial from, 0594643637 is the number that the asterisk server should respond to. in misdn.conf i created a kpn section like this: [kpn] ports=1ptmp ;group=1 immediate=yes always_immediate=yes context=kpn-in hold_allowed=yes msns=* and in extensions.conf i created a very basic kpn-in section like this: [kpn-in] exten => kpn-in,1,Dial(SIP/mark,25,tr) I don't really have much experience with asterisk so I probably did something wrong here, but I couldn't really figure out how to get it done. anyone out there an...

Asterisk answering only one (dialed-) Number on a PTMP (German "Mehrgeräteanschluss")?
Hi, please excuse my poor englisch. Is it possible to connect a (privat Test-Asterisk) to my privat ISDN and allow him to only answer one dialed number? We have 3 up to 10 Numbers on each (Euro-)ISDN (2 b-chanels), it cant't be done by the last Digits cause the numbers are completely different. For Example: I have 3 Numbers (641717, 928752....) Is it possible to tell Asterisk (in
