reinstalled everything from scratch, to no avail.
Any ideas would be immensely appreciated, as I am seriously considering

Tell Samba, it should not allocate disk memory before copying file
...mounted the stick with the sync option. This is important,
because i never know when the user disconnects
the stick. I have tested the same options without samba, and that works
fine. The file is directly written to the
stick, without allocating the memory first.
smb.conf:
[global]
workgroup = Msheimnetz
netbios name = Samba
server string = Samba
security = SHARE
guest account = nobody
encrypt passwords = yes
interfaces = 192.168.0.111/24
strict allocate = no

guest ok = yes
Now i am happy for any idea.

Samba Printer Driver Upload: files can not be copied
...g Samba 3.0.25b on OpenSuSE 10.2 (x86_64), Linux 2.6.18.8. The
file system for the print$ share is ext3 on a software RAID1. My client

Any ideas anyone?
