Ugh. We thought we'd fixed some problems by using regexten and DUNDi. Guess not. We have a configuration with three Asterisk boxes. Phones register with a single, primary asterisk box under normal conditions. For voicemail deposit, retrieval, we trunk the calls over to our asterisk voicemail server. However, the voicemail server now has no knowledge of the location details of the phones,

...voice mail message. I know there is a way to call another perl script or program up when an email message is written, but I am not a programmer. I know there could be a perl script or program that could run every minute and check the /var/spool/asterisk/voicemail/default/XXXX/INBOX and read the msgxxxx.txt file and get the information and then attach the msgxxx.wav file and email it but again I am no programmer. Does anyone know if this has been done or is willing to do it? This would be similar to the iPhone visual voicemail using MMS on cell phones. Just a thought. Any ideas or thoughts?

Is there a way to make the asterisk voicemail app play back messages in NEWEST FIRST order, instead of OLDEST FIRST? I see the situation repeatedly where someone needs to dip into their voicemail archive to get something from a recently saved voicemail message, and they have to slog through lots of irrelevant stuff to get there. Hi, we're running Asterisk 1.2.10 and have been randomly being left blank voicemails with long messages that we can't hear. I've searched and searched but cannot find a solution. This is what happens: Internal Server runs Asterisk 1.2.10 where our mailboxes are Incoming Server (behind a firewall) runs Asterisk 1.2.13 and calls are bridged between this server and our internal server.
