Samba 3 with LDAP vs. Windows 10 - I KNOW SAMBA3 IS DEPRECATED, BUT COULD BE INTERESTING :)
...th joining domain with windows 10 we dont need it ...
When I try to join the Domain, the clients tries to contact our ldap
daemon on udp/389:
tcpdump:
12:38:24.823478 IP hugo.foo.bar.56137 > dc1.foo.bar.ldap: UDP, length 150
according to
http://www.openldap.org/lists/openldap-technical/201303/msg00222.html
this is problematic ...
Has anyone a nice workaround for that problem ? In other words: Is
anyone here who joined a Samba3/LDAP based domain with windows 10 ?
Greetings

Trace Disk I/O per guest domain!
Dear All,
I am trying to trace all the disk I/O accesses made by the xen guest domains to dom0 domain. I would request for critics or comments in doing the same. [PATCH] v2v: Fix kernel disambiguation by dropping Epoch field (RHBZ#1669395).
When detecting kernels we have to list the files in the package to
find the right /boot/vmlinuz file.
In virt-v2v 1.28 we ran:
rpm -ql kernel
Because multiple kernels can be installed this gave incorrect results,
which was reported in RHBZ#1161250 and initially fixed in
commit 377bc302f11db3da4263f894c76a7d280fb25dbd. This changed the
command to:
rpm -ql [epoch:]kernel-version.release

The delays on CentOS 5.6 are causing EPEL incompatibilities
There are significant components of the upstream 5.6 release which are
stuck behind the CentOS 5.6 release process, but are now incorporated
in EPEL 5 components. In particular, the "php53" package is now
necessary for the "drupal6" EPEL components, due to the long out of
date PHP 5.1 in the default upstream vendor's codebase.
I see that some of these components are
