libvirtd using 11GB
Hi All, Am new to this list, and have asked in #ovirt / ovirt-users list and they pointed me to here ... I've seen libvirtd using ~11 GB of resident memory after the host has been running for about 60+ days with about 40 VMs running on it. The versions I'm currently running are : libvirt.x86_64 0.9.10-21.el6_3.7 libvirt-client.x86_64 0.9.10-21.el6_3.7

Does Set Block IO tune take effect in the same session.
Hello All, I am using virDomainSetBlockIoTune() API to set the IO tune parameter for a running guest VM. I observed that after setting the value succesfully i ned to Shutdown and start the VM inorder to take the set value in effect. Is there any way with which these values come in effect in the same session of the VM without Shutting down and starting the VM. Please help regards, Vikrant

I have made all these changes in my Ubuntu desktop. I have also enabled passwordless login for ssh at destination. But still, everytime i run into the same problem. Problems connecting to the libvirtd server
Hello everyone I do not know if it is correct address this mailing lists but I can not use libvirt. I run compile libvirt version 2.2.0 into environment lfs stable with qemu 2.7.0 and have not had any problems. The program when it starts not report any errors in the log, with activated debug level file. Only when you try to connect with the following command virsh -c qemu:///system remains hung
