Move listeners problems
Thanks, Karl! I've checked the log files during a move command but I couldn't find anything that looked related to the problems. I've thought of upgrading to 2.3.2 but thought I should ask first if it was something common - saw that someone mailed about the same problems a couple of months ago, if I understood it correctly. /Mathias 2009/11/18 Karl Heyes <karl at xiph.org>:

Redirect listeners and fallback
...o be able to move the listeners to a mountpoint showing "brb" at the cofee breaks. We have tried using the fallback option, the clients (sometimes) goes to the fallback mount point, but it never comes back when the stream is reconnected. We also tried moving "by hand" using moveclients.xsl, in that case the player freezes complaining it's a broken stream (tried mplayer, vlc and totem). This issues happen both with the stock icecast from debian and ubuntu and with the last kh branch. Please let me know if I should clarify any point or add aditional information. Thanks...

URL authentication
'The work' are you referring to http://svn.xiph.org/icecast/branches/kh ? Most important is that I shouldn't have to edit the icecast configuration file when a new mountpoint needs to be added. Therefor all authentication of source and listener should go through the URL's. KJ Karl Heyes schreef: > Klaas Jan Wierenga wrote: >> >> In my case that's not needed,

mountpoint configuration beyond the basics?
Hello, I'm new to icecast, but in few time I setup a streaming system using a raspberry pi as stream source through darkice towards my icecast server. All seemed fine with the basic mountpoint configuration, but when I tried to try some of the more "advanced" features I failed badly. More specifically: 1. I tried to force a failback mountpoint like this:

Hello, I have a problem with icecast a have a source+ a fallback source when source disconnect after a network interruption, all lilsteners are transfered to the fallback source but then, a few seconds later, source come back and didn't get back its previous listeners. Is there a way to have this behaviour : source disconnect => listeners transfered to fallback source reconnects =>

Do you know were we can find that file? Thank you, Luis Barrett -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was
