I am using R 1.6.1 on Windows. I usually write/edit code in the R console, and when I get it working right, copy and paste it to a text file for later use. I've downloaded Wine 1.1.7 and unzipped it onto my desktop. I've printed out the readme file and have followed the quick start by running ./tools/wineinstall (I'm doing all this by mouseclicks - no terminal). A dialog box flashes and then nothing happens.
