[cecast web player
Hello, thank you for your fast response. The https is working fine in general. The problem is with the buttons in the web interface. It works perfect with http. But the buttons in the web interface create with https files like this http://hostname:443/mountpointname.aac This is not playing in the web interface and with other players. The buttons should create: https://hostname/mountpointname.aac My question is: How can I change this? I'm using 2.4.4 with windows. In download from https://www.icecast.org/download/ I can get 2.4.4. only. Where can I d...

icecast web player
Hello, I just performed a new deployment of icecast (icecast2 2.4.4-4) In my previous icecast deployment I had a player embedded on the icecast web interface but this time I don't have that. I can access the stream using http://192.168.68.100:8000/ices from mplayer or other media players, but I would also like to be able to play the stream from the icecast web interface. What am I

SEcontext setting failure on an external harddisk
...t and the conf file. I don?t believe that the volume will be mounted on boot in /run/media, that is for storage mounted by a user logged at the console. It would make more sense to set up a systemd .mount and .automount unit for the device and mount point (someplace outside of /run, such as /srv/mountpointname). Then set up the labels correctly. You need to use a file system that supports extended attribute if you want it to work with selinux, so XFS or ext4. -- Jonathan Billings

PHP + parsing # of listeners.
...# of listners for a mount point, and put it up on my main page to show other listeners the number of listeners. Now I seem to remember someone haveing some php scripts that did this sort of thing, and I can't find those. I relieve my best bet is to use some regular expression magic and find /mountpointname.ogg,,,, read everything until the next ,,'s in the status2.xsl. Now, thats great, but my regular expression skills are sub par, and I was wondering if there is another solution, so I can create a more customized icecast2 stats page. Btw, everyone thank you for all the great work. And good j...

Config and other areas of struggle
...July 23, 2016 10:29 AM To: Icecast streaming server user discussions Subject: Re: [Icecast] Config and other areas of struggle Hi Alan, Very interesting indeed. What URL are you looking at the status from? I’ve tried home.dayme.me:28888, 81.174.146.88:28888, when I am streaming I even tried the /mountpointname at the end, and all I keep getting is: Unable to connect Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at 81.174.146.88:28888. If it’s working your end, that suggests that it is a problem trying to log in with the same machine. Bizarre. Cheers. -------------- next part -------------- An H...

SEcontext setting failure on an external harddisk
I tried moving a PosgreSQL database to an external harddisk due to lack of space on the main harddisks. Not the ideal solution of course but it should work. However, on CentOS 7 the external harddisk is mounted under /run/media and the user. I copied the postgresql database directory and made sure it is owned recursively by postgres, changed the necessary settings in both the systemd unit and the

live streaming on the web using a link
I have upgraded my streaming servers, I have a Solaris 9 server with darkice-0.15 and Solaris 9 server with icecast-2.2.0. Now the index.html code will not work with the new versions of darkice and icecast2. I did found an email that said I needed to use http://url of site. tld/icecast mount point.m3u. So in darkice I found "mount point of this stream on the IceCast2 server" which

What are you using to forward the 'music' to the Icecast server that I can see? If you are using darkice for example, have you configured the darkice.cfg so that it matches icecast's configuration? Icecast appears to be working, but has no stream. If I knew what the passwords were, I could configure my darkice on my pi to forward music to your Icecast and it would stream it - you just
