Hello, I have a strange problem on a gluster volume If I do an "ls -l" in a directory insight a mountet gluster-volume I see, only for some files, questionmarks for the permission, the owner, the size and the date. Hi! IMO i found a bug in using cvs together with samba Situation: pserver: running on SunOS 5.8 I interact with this pserver either by working on the machine which serves also the pserver or by working on NT. I have a home directory on that unix-machine which is also mountet on NT via Samba (mountet as drive H). Now i do this: 1. checking out a project to H:. The project contains empty directories 'table' and 'layoutmanager' 2. running 'cvs -f -t update -P' to remove empty directories Here is the tail of the output: -- [...] cvs server: Updat...

Samba 3.0.0 and OS/2 Ecomstations
I can't seem to get samba3.0 to talk nicely to OS/2 Samba 2.2 works flawlessly, but samba 3.0 on Redhat Enterprise 3.0 or samba 3.0-final-0.b (from backports.org) on debian woody does not work. >From the servers point of view, everything seems ok On the OS/2 client it, the share is mountet and looks good until you you browse it in the GUI-filebrowser. It says "No objects were found that matched the specified" and "The system call level is incorrect" using a OS/2 command shell seems to work nicely except that the volume-name sometimes has garbage characters in...

Samba ignores groups for ACL !
...after this i added via "setfacl -m g:MyDomain\\group_beta:rwx folder_a" the group "group_beta" to the first folder. The Same i did with the folder "folderB", i added the group "group_gama" (rwx). Crashed ext3-filesystem
Hi! We have a server still running Debian 3.0 (Woody) that nobody likes to touch for maintenance ... ;) Our home-directories are located on a separate HDD (30GB, 1 large primary ext3 partition) and until yesterday it worked correctly. Because the partition was nearly full we had to enlarge our home-space by moving it to a larger HDD. We decided to try a copy of whole partition by using
