I have similar problem. However, I have noticed that without applying the sp3 on either NT4 workstation or Server. It seems to work fine. As soon as sp3 is applied the samba does not work. Error loggin in occurs. I remove tcpip support on nt and reinstalled, there was a conversion from winsock1.1 to winsock2.0. Hi [Samba]s I have RedHat 8.0, and have installed a compiled CUPS 1.1.19pre4 and Samba 3.0 (latest this week from CVS). It all compiles and installs OK with CUPS support in Samba, but no printers show up (according to smbclient -L or from windoze) when "printing=cups" is used.
