Fwd: [MORG] IMAP5 List
If anyone's interested, especially client developers. It's been a bit quiet there after the initial rush. draft-ietf-morg-list-specialuse-01 - IMAP LIST extension for special-use mailboxes
...you think about this draft is it good enough to make patch based on it for dovecot? We would like to see this functionality in 2.0 dovecot release but it's not clear when this draft become standards track. Will you accept patch based on drafts? > > Have you read the discussion about it in morg list? I don't remember what the last conclusions were :) Anyway I'd probably accept patch to Dovecot, but maybe not yet advertise supporting SPECIAL-USE in capability. > > But the main thing I'm not sure about is where should the flag information be stored? Urgent hardware help needed
Hello all, First of all, sorry to beg... If anyone has the ability to get me some specific hardware quickly, this would be incredibly helpful right now... The server which runs all my stuff blew its motherboard yesterday, and I have since replaced the CPU, motherboard, memory, and case. Unfortunately, the memory appears to be flaky, and it's apparently hard to find the appropriate type

Folder Aliases - Revisited Yet Again
I just did a search through my archives - seems this topic has been requested a few times since my posting two years ago. I asked about a specific implementation - which Mr. Sirainen never commented on. He was probably focused on something more important at the time - like a paying job. So I'll ask again... Calling Timo! If we can't get clients to agree on a "standard"

appending and merging data frames
I know that the basic approach to append or merge data frames is using the rbind and merge commands. However, if I understand things correctly, for both commands one needs to do quite some additional programming to get e.g. behavior as with the Stata append and morge commands or to achieve some things which I think users need quite frequently. E.g. for appending, the data frame must have identical column names. In order to rename columns or in order to add columns with missing values if necessary, additional programming is needed. For merging, all matches get...

Also - is there a reliable way for TB to know it is connecting to a dovecot server?
This would be so it could auto-disable GLODA - its new 'Global Search and Indexing' scheme - for that account - assuming they accept (and implement) my bug request to be able to do that: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=544100

Can we know when a user read our email?
Hi. I have seen some emails servers that if I send a email to other person I can see if that person have read our emails and with a option to delete the email if the person hasn't read our email. Does dovecot have some like this feature? Thanks!!!

Evaluate part of an expression at C level
...ing if the below is possible? Let's assume I have the following expression: 1:10 < 5 Is there a way at the R C API level to only evaluate the 5th element (i.e 5 < 5) instead of evaluating the whole expression and then select the 5th element in the logical vector? Precision of function mean, bug?
...ed(123) n=1e3L idx=5 x=rnorm(n) y=rnorm(n) z=rnorm(n) a=(x[idx]+y[idx]+z[idx])/3 b=mean(c(x[idx],y[idx],z[idx])) a==b # [1] FALSE For idx= 1, 2, 3, 4 the last line is equal to TRUE. For 5, 6 and many others the difference is small but still. Is that expected or is it a bug? Thank you Best Regards Morgan Jacob [[alternative HTML version deleted]]

subset data.frame at C level
...or .subset2(mtcars, "carb"). If I have the index of the column then the answer would be VECTOR_ELT(df, asInteger(idx)) but I was wondering if there is a way to do it directly from the name of the column without having to loop over columns names to find the index?
