Correspondence analysis/optimal scaling with ordinal variable
...al variable "EducationLevel" into
a continuous variable "EducationScore".
However, this procedure does not account for the fact that one of my
variables (EducationLevel) is ordinal. For instance, the weights
obtained after performing the correspondence analysis could be
non-monotically increasing (weights used in order to compute the
projection on the first factor).
In summary, the question is:
(1) Are there statistical procedures that account for the ordinal
nature of the Level variable (so that the weights are monotically
increasing: order constraints on the weights)...

Need help to create a monotone missing data pattern
Hi
I've simulated multivariate longitudinal. The data is a mixture of conitnous
and categorical data. I've stored it in matrix form with the time dependent
variables as colons. Now I want to create a monote missing data pattern
starting of with MCAR-missingnes and different proportions of
missingdata and then refine the function to handle MAR and NMAR. Is there
anybody that could help or point in the right direction.
/Mauri
