Monmonier algorithm
Hello,
Here is a late answer, but an answer nonetheless to the question I asked
almost one year ago on this list:

Monmonier algorithm
Hello list,
does anyone know if Monmonier algorithm is available in R? I've checked
several spatial libraries, but I didn't find anything related to it.
However, there is a huge documentation and I may have missed it.
Before coding it, I'd like to be sure it doesn't already exist.
Cheers,
Thibaut Jombart.

partial mantel tests "Ecodist"
Hi all,
I'm searching for a little clarification on partial mantel tests
(ecodist package)
I've a distance matrix (x,y), and several others containing
environmental/chemical variables.
Based on the help file, and the package instructions I've managed to
implement the tests as;
var1 ~ env1 + space
to partial out the effect of space and test the relationship between

dimnames does not match array extent
Dear R help-list,
I am trying to calculate Monmoniers algorithm. I have 3 data sets: coordinates (coord), distance matrix (comdist) and geographical distance matrix (geodist). I consistently get the error " dimnames does not match array extent". However, when I use the function "structure" I get the following results:

USA map with all states
Hi R Gurus!
There was a function in S called "usa()" which would plot the US.
I found map('usa') in R for the lower 48 states. Is there a way to
include Alaska and Hawaii as well, please?
Thanks,
