- Added pop3_mails_keep_recent setting. Currently this only means that
mails won't be moved from new/ to cur/ in maildir. More I/O friendly.
- Fixed \Recent-flag handling and counters to work correctly with
maildir. I think it's finally working right :)

Connecting an iMac to os/2
...#39;d like to get it to connect to an old os/2
server, v4.5 fp3.
Using smbutils on the iMac:
$ smbutil -v view //sma-server1.sma.com
smbutil: server connection failed: RPC struct is bad
Can anyone suggest what changes may be made that will correct this
error? Is it even possible?

- "Maildir sync: UID < next_uid (446 < 447, file = .." errors should
be fixed
- fixes for detecting changes in uidvalidity and external uidnext
changes
- several fixes and cleanups in index file handling. less code than
before and now changes to index header also go through transaction log.
that should mean that soon I can get mmap_disable = yes

Using rsync to synchronize
.../data-store1/ /data-store2/
Recently I have had the need to actually synchronize the files
between two data stores. That is, whichever data store has the newest
timestamp updates the other data store.
What are some recommended ways for using rsync to synchronize two
data stores?

Permission weirdness
Hello.
I am running samba 3.0.5 in an ADS environment. I have a win2k3 server as the
DC and my samba machine (running on Gentoo Linux) is a member of that domain.
I am using winbind.
I have three users, for this example I will call them Larry, Curly and Moe.
All three have RW access to a share on the server called "stooges". The
linux perms on this directory look like this:
drwxrwx--- root DOMAIN+stooges_ stooges
There are other users who are members of the DOMAIN+stooges group, but these
three are in charge and need access t...

Changing only file permissions

So the target volume has everything set as "root root", and useful
bits like the SetUID mode are missing.
Is there a way to use rsync to restore only the
permissions/owner/user and mode flags on the target volume from the
source volume?

Settings file times only
...here was a way to prevent that
from happening.
Is there a way to use rsync to set the timestamps of the
destination's file (and directories) to the source's timestamps? I do
not wish to copy any files. All that needs to match is the filename,
new or deleted files are ignored.

R2 function from PLS to use a model on test data
...ice1, ncomp=1, newdata=MiceTest , and I should be able to calculate
R2.....but I can't figure out the correct command to do this. I tried the
command below, which does provide a different R2 response, however, I'm not
sure it is correct as I get a different R^2 value from another software MOE
( Molecular Operating Environment ).
R2(mice1, estimate="test", MiceTest)
Is the above the correct code to achieve what I'm doing? If so, then MOE
probably uses a different function to calculate the model component's R^2
for Test data.
Thanks in advance.
