I tried to study the above properties using rdirichlet from gtools. The code

Aggregate and select mode
Greetings Everyone -
I have a data frame "x" that looks like this:
v1 v2
1 A
1 B
1 B
2 B
2 W
2 W
3 D
3 D
3 Z
What I would like to do is create a new data frame, "y", that has one row
for each unique value of v1, and returns the corresponding mode of v2. If I
were to run it on the above data frame, it should therefore return:
v1 v2

Install XGL under CentOS 5 with ATI X600 and dual-head configuration
Hi again.
I've got a laptop with an ATI X600 inside, perfectly working xorg with
dual head configuration, 2 desktops (without xinerama).
I've got 2 xorg.conf files, one for propietary ATI (fglrx) driver, and
other to use the open source driver. The difference is very notorious.
The problem I have is that I read (Saint Google) that to work with
compiz/beryl and dual-head configuration, I

Thanks for your fast answer Lloyd.
I would rate mode4 of speex with 4 and mode2 with 4. (MoS)
I can't hear a huge difference between both, except that mode4 files have more bass-parts (I guess because they are wideband encoded).
I recorded the files on a RME RayDat with 48kHz per second and sampled it down with cubase (at the export).
I'm not sure if this can make the...

PESQ calculated MoS-Values for Speex
Hello,
I just signed up to this mailing-list (note: my first mailing list at all),
because I'm having some problems related to speex.
Let me just introduce you to what I'm doing.
I am writing a short (really short) paper about VoIP techniques, especially
audio codecs for speech.
I pointed out basic technologies behind audio codecs; vector quantization,
lpc, long-term prediction and some

5.1 surround channel coupling
It obviously would be nice to have such a mode available, for e.g. DVD audio
compression. Apparently, the list doesn''t tell me too much about it. My
questions are:
1. What is the current status of the 5.1 channel coupling in Vorbis?
2. If I''ll be interested in participation in its development, what is the
recommended reading?
