Changing Python Version
Hi; I am trying to change the default version of python on my centos 5.7 box and leave the old installation. Frustrated by not finding any help online, I went ahead and installed Python 2.6 from the source. It appears to be my default, but when I fire up mod_wsgi, it complains that it can't import os. Please advise. TIA, Quincey?

Regarding the setup with uWSGI + NGINX, the Django documentation "How to use Django with Apache and mod_wsgi"? is excellent: https://docs.djangoproject.com/en/1.11/howto/deployment/wsgi/modwsgi/ There is also a similar setup for NGINX on readthedocs (which I assume will also work): http://uwsgi-docs.readthedocs.io/en/latest/tutorials/Django_and_nginx.html For the rest: Google is your friend, you...

Use EPEL without redirection ?
Hi, Is there any way to deactivate the redirection to a mirror when using the third-party EPEL repository ? Our network uses a transparent HTTP/HTTPS proxy with a local AC. We can create exceptions for sites like centos.org or download.fedoraproject.org, but whenever we want to install a package from EPEL, the mirror redirection causes an error due to redirection. Any suggestions ? Niki --
