Radio? Sure! Internet Radio Player support in Wine?
http://www.radiosure.com/
Is it possible to get this working under Wine? I'm running the latest version and get the following when I try to run the "portable" version they have on their website:
Code:
wine RadioSure.exe
wine: Call from 0x7b844453 to unimplemented function ntoskrnl.exe.IoAttachDevice, aborting

Re: How to deal with the message: winedevice.exe has encountered
I guess I'm late to the party. I'm getting this error on just about every program I run under Wine since I updated to 1.1.20. Even the Wine Configuration tool makes this error show up first. What is happening here?
I had 4 files in my ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/system32/drivers directory.
mountmgr.sys
MrtRate.sys
PxHelp20.sys
pxhelper.sys
If I move all of them out, the error popup stops

Serial Port Data Slicer applications
I'm trying to run some Windows programs that rely on using the serial port with a data slicer interface and a .SYS or .VXD file that under Windows is necessary to transfer the information from the serial port to the application... At least I think this is how it works.
In Wine these apps are complaining that they can't find the .SYS/.VXD files. In Windows these .SYS and .VXD files are

Win92 Radio Scanner program
I'm trying to run Win92 http://www.starrsoft.com/freeware/win92/ with my radio scanner and a serial port adapter with standard level converter MAX232 chip. It's a "portable" application that doesn't require installation under Windows, but it's just not running at all under Wine, here is the terminal output, I'm using 1.1.21:
Code:
$ wine Win92.exe

winedbg out of control since Jaunty Upgrade
I just upgraded to Ubuntu jaunty. I've been using the Intrepid Wine repo before, then I updated my sources.list for Jaunty. All wine programs including winecfg itself throws tons of error now upon initial startup:
Code:
fixme:dbghelp_dwarf:compute_location Unhandled attr op: e0
dwarf.c:1355: dwarf2_parse_variable: Assertion `subpgm->func' failed.

Graphics Demos problems OpenGL issue?
I can't seem to run any of the "Platnum" OpenGL demos listed on http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=category&iId=95&sAction=view&sTitle=Browse+Applications. Even with a clean .wine directory they just crash with a dialog box that says an internal error occurred. I'm running Ubuntu Jaunty with Wine 1.1.28. Video card is nvidia 9500GT with 180.53 driver,

Possible to hide external fonts from Wine?
I'm one of the few affected by this bug http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=17598 in which many fonts installed on the system cause Wine to take a long time to initially load a Windows program. I just wanted to know if there is a way to hide the fonts on the Linux box from Wine seeing them? Thanks for any suggestions.
