wine: lsta /some/directory/wine/conf/wineserver-tux/socket : No such file or directory
Hi, i try to install MusicMatch JukeBox 1.43 in my RedHat Linux 8.0.
Ussualy i work whit RedHat 7.3 whitout problems, everything is ok. But
whit RedHat 8.0 display the nex problem:
[rodox@tux rodox]$ mmjb/mmjb
wine: lstat /home/rodox/mmjb/wine/conf/wineserver-tux/socket : No such
file or directory
I search in google, and http://www.winehq.org whitout good results...
i don't understand why apendd this, in fact
/home/rodox/mmjb/wine/conf/wineserver-tux/socket dosn't exist.
What can i do t...

MusicMatch Jukebox-like mp3 player...
Looking for recommendations....
On WinXP, I use MusicMatch Jukebox version 9 for all my tinkering with
mp3s. What do you guys use that would match the functionality of MMJB?
I'm mainly interested in the music library setup of MMJB...

MMJB for Linux
Has anyone managed to get this program to work? It's packaged with a wine
package that it allegedly needs (instead of your usual wine installation)
to work - but all I get when I try to run it as packaged is the following
message:

Is there anyone who would be willing/capable to code a streamlined Ogg Vorbis
decoder for inclusion with the PeerCast client? The only thing preventing Ogg
Vorbis from wide use is the many software players that still don't support it
(Real, WiMP, MMJB). Since people have to download the PeerCast client to
listen over the PeerCast network, it would 1) be annoying for the typical user
to download a Vorbis-compatible player seperately (especially if they're
comfortable with their current player) and 2) be beneficial to include by
