Rd and guillemots
...anks to those who've set up R to work so smoothly with Miktex-- even a total Latex bunny like me got it to work instantly, so that for the first time I'm able to run my Rd files through the Latex side of RCMD CHECK. Now the question/buglet. mvbutils and trackObjs
Hello Colleagues, I've recently become a fan of Mark Bravington's mvbutils package for organizing analysis projects in a tree. Using cd(), Save(), fixr(), mlazy() etcetera solves nicely some of the nuisances that have worried or annoyed me and sometimes caused big problems over the years. Well thought out. Now one feature that would be fabulous would be automatic time-stamping of objects. The trackObjs package from provides this, among other services....

Windows testing
R 1.4.0 is now sinking into feature freeze, and we'd like some help testing it under Windows. Duncan Murdoch and Uwe Ligges have already volunteered. I've put a copy of SetupR140.exe at http://www.stats.ox.ac.uk/pub/bdr/RWin Also in that directory is a file TESTING suggesting some tests, not all of which have been run on this build.
