Quota count does not work with lock_method=dotlock
Hello,
dovecot crashes when I switch the quota tracking from dict to count. The
following is working since years:
quota = dict:User quota::proxy::quota
I'm using a mysql quota dictionary.
Now I want to switch to the new "quota count" + "quota clone"
combination. I'm loading the "quota_clone" plugin, and:
#quota = dict:User quota::proxy::quota

I have the same problem, but I use 'dict:file' as quota backend - Maybe
the error is due to quota_vsizes and not 'count'.

Panic in indexer-worker
Hi,
I did a fresh installation of 2.2.9 in my test environment and enabled
fts_autoindex=yes. I'm using a solr-server for FTS.
I got this error, just once until now:

imap_logout_format improvements / ideas
http://hg.dovecot.org/dovecot-2.2/rev/93bba97afb2a
http://hg.dovecot.org/dovecot-2.2/rev/e0a17714f0c9
So all in all, you can now add to imap_logout_format:
# %i - total number of bytes read from client
# %o - total number of bytes sent to client
# %{fetch_hdr_count} - Number of mails with mail header data sent to client
# %{fetch_hdr_bytes} - Number of bytes with mail header data sent to

imap process and indexer-worker crash while creating folders
Hi,
our dovecot processes sometimes crash when we create new folders. The "imap" process and the "indexer worker" process is crashing. We can reproduce this, we have a java program with multiple threads, and sometimes 2 threads try to create the same folder for the same user, and if both collide, dovecot processes crash.
We don't see this happening in the real world if

Extension for sorting mails by Displayname
Hi everybody,
first of all, thanks Timo for version 2.0.
Currently I want to sort mails server-side by displayname of FROM and
TO. There is an extension for it, but I think dovecot does not support
it at the moment.
It is defined in RFC 5957:
https://www.tools.ietf.org/html/rfc5957
Is there an dovecot extension for it, how can I get that running?

Quota: Maildir and other files
Hi everybody,
I'm currently working on the quota limits in dovecot, and Maildir
quota is working fine, it reports the correct numbers.
But our users also have additional space where they can put files, and
I would like both to have the same quota of 2 GB. So mails + files
should not exceed 2 GB.
What is the best way to solve this?
I already tried the following:
- I put the files in

Quota-status service on Director
Hello,
I'm trying to configure the quota-status service, but it seems I'm not successful with my director setup (2.2.9). I activate the quota-status service like this on my director server:
$ cat 91-quota-status.conf
##
## Quota-Status configuration.
##
# Load Module quota-status and listen on TCP/IP Port for connections.
service quota-status {
? executable = quota-status -p postfix
