Aggregating logs from numerous FreeBSD machines
Hi folks,
My stack of trusty FreeBSD servers always seems to be growing, and it's
getting to the point where the daily and security output mail is too much to
make good use of. I'm looking for suggestions for log monitoring and
aggregation tools, especially from a monitoring-for-security perspective.
If I had to imagine an ideal system, it would be a central server that

No data when recording a Meetme conference with Monitor
I'm trying to record a Meetme conference to disk, but the Monitor application
doesn't seem to play nicely with Meetme. In extensions.conf, I have this:
exten => 1000,1,Answer
exten => 1000,2,Monitor
exten => 1000,3,Meetme
This starts up the monitoring OK, and it records the prompts that Meetme

Looking for IAX/SIP termination in Israel
I'm looking for IAX (preferred) or SIP termination in Israel, with DIDs. Can

buying/selling minutes?
Thanks,

DTMF transmitted over IAX2 coming out as clicks at the other end
I'm having a weird problem with IAX2 in today's CVS HEAD. I have two boxes
with T100P cards connected via IAX2. Calls between them work fine, but when
I press a key at one end, it comes out the other end as a click, with no
tone. I've tested the DTMF on the T1 using SendDTMF with an outgoing call,
and it sounds fine in that case; it seems to be only IAX2 that has the
problem.

Inbound Callerid for SIP Phones
I have a number of inbound analog lines connecting through Digium cards to an Asterisk box.
Asterisk then bridges the calls over to the internal extensions which are all SIP phones.
Currenly the inbound lines do not have callerid on them so callerid=no in my zapata.conf file. What happens on inbound calls is that the SIP extensions are dialed but their callerid shows

Using racoon-negotiated IPSec with ipfw and natd
[ -netters, please Cc me or security@ with replies. ]
I'm running into trouble integrating dynamic racoon-based IPSec into a network
with ipfw and natd. I need to be able to allow VPN access from any address
from authenticated clients. I've got the dynamic VPN working, with racoon
negotiating SAs and installing SPs, but the problem is that I can't tell
whether an incoming packet on
