multinomial MCMCglmm
Dear all, I would like to add mixed effects in a multinomial model and I am trying to use MCMCglmm for that. The main problem I face: my data set consits of a trapping data set, where the observation at eah trap (1 or 0 for each species) have been aggregated per traplines. Therefore we have a proportion of presence/absence for each species per trapline. ex: ID_line mesh habitat Apsy Mygl

R-help Digest, Vol 115, Issue 12
Hello Amelie, I don't have an answer to your question, but I just wanted to point out this page I noticed recently ( http://hlplab.wordpress.com/2009/05/07/multinomial-random-effects-models-in-r/), which might be helpful. I'm also interested in figuring out how to do a multinomial glmm, so if you find out anything I'd be happy to hear more about it! Based on what I've found so

Be aware of callcheap.com and Mike Low - It is scam
...rson with very good plans for his business. He asked me for a good provider and I recommended him one. But when it came to pay for the service, he started to ask for more time. He did the same with the carrier. And after about month and a half, not paying to any one of us and using, or should I say misuing our trunks and services for his users and users of another company, he refused to pay us at all and blamed us for bad service, damage to his business and other non-sense. Once the carrier disconnect him after suffering a huge loss, and me refusing to do any further work for him unless my invoices a...

About Mcneil Hanley test for a portion of AUC!
Dear all I am trying to compare the performances of several methods using the AUC0.1 and not the whole AUC. (meaning I wanted to compare to AUC's whose x axis only goes to 0.1 not 1) I came to know about the Mcneil Hanley test from Bernardo Rangel Tura and I referred to the original paper for the calculation of "r" which is an argument of the function cROC. I can only find the

[LLVMdev] Contributing to LLVM
Hello all, I'm a rising sophomore CS/Engineering student in the US and I'm interested in programming languages/ compilers.I think the LLVM would be a great project for me to contribute to, both to learn something and help the project. Unfortunately, I don't know much about compilers, much less anything which would allow me to make a significant contribution. I've started reading
