Recompiling source rpms for i386, i686 and x86_64 on the same box?
..., so that I can keep track of the RPMS's and build
them into my own future repo. (That's another project, I'm sure I'll
come to the list for that one!)

Mister Anvin,
care to share what's the status of the "ld?" problemo,
is anyone working on it?
It would be maravilloso if syslinux can continue to build and test with latest and greatest.

Static Puppet Binary
...binary as a sort of installer for particular systems, as I don''t really want to have to install puppet client on 70 systems by hand! These are all production servers already, so I''m not getting the opportunity to build them from the ground up.
Any advice is appreciated, thanks.

New CentOS ToDo Page Required
Due to recent list traffic, it seems that we need to have a new todo
list! I propose the following
1) Nuke current todo page
2) Create new todo page
3) Clear out ancient todo items
a) Get rid of the items that are no longer relevant
b) Reword those that are
4) Update Wiki
a) Gasp as the magnitude at the job
b) Inject coffee, add ego - write mini todo and propose to list
c) Expand on b) till

Updating samba4 from git
Hi folks,
I have a samba4 server, which is acting as AD DC for a small domain. The
whole setup is based on version 4.0.0alpha8-GIT-7fc8086 on freebsd.
Since the samba process is core dumping several times a day, I want to
update to the newest code in the tree.
How can I do this, without loosing all the data in my AD?

Olli

Puppet syntax check for Komodo Edit
Hi folks,
Recently I''ve been using a MacBook Pro (Lion) as a workstation, I''m
feeling good even if still missing some tool (coming from Ubuntu
environment).
I''d like to have a cross platform IDE with basic Puppet syntax
highlight, so far the one that seems to better fit my needs is Komodo

AOL.
As an *English* speaker (as in "not American"), I also see "master" as -
not exactly reverential - but as a leader (or a youngster - the
diminutive of Mister).
And reading the link against it, almost the first post I read was an
African American saying that a lot of this was totally irrelevant to
him, and was a lot of white people speaking on his behalf without
actually bothering to ask him what *he* wanted.
If changing terminology makes things cle...

"update-grub" adds line to "multiboot"
...#39;Loading initial ramdisk ...''
module /initrd.img-2.6.32-5-xen-amd64
}
Now the "pciback" command is at the "module" line and the device is actually seized. The problem is that is added to all linux kernels and not only the Xen kernel.

How to "busy out" zap channels
I know this topic came up many months back and some discussions were being
had on how to do this within the Zaptel drivers. However, I'm looking for
even a crude hack that someone has put together to get this done.
We have PRI's and LD T1's that are load balanced on two boxes. The hunt
order goes from box to box as far as the spans are concerned. There are
times that I would like to
