OT: Linksys router misbehaviour
I'm running a Linksys WRT54GL router from my CentOS-7 home server. Every now and then (maybe once every 2 days) the router's WiFi cuts out, and I've found no way to solve this except to disconnect the power from the router, wait 10 seconds and then re-connect. This always works. The router is running under dd-wrt. My question is - which makes it a tiny bit CentOS-related - does anyone

White Screen of Death
Hello, I''ve heard these words to describe a RoR application returning an empty page. This happen from time to time even here, in the forum. That is the cause of this misbehaviour ? Is it related with something external to RoR itself ? What is the solution to avoid the WSOD ? -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/.

traceroute misbehaviour on dual-home using -i or -s
My Linux workstation (Mandrake 10.1 kernel 2.6.8.1) is dual-homed to two ADSL Internet providers. Card eth0 (192.168.9.250) is the default route and leads to an SMC router (192.168.9.254). Card eth1 (192.168.1.250) leads to a Linksys router (192.168.1.1). I''m not doing any NAT or PPPoE in the workstation - the SMC and Linksys handle it all. I know four commands that let you set an IP

How to debug MixMonitor misbehaviour
Hi everyone, For some reason MixMonitor doesn't record when it should; It actually shows the MixMonitor line just fine on the CLI. How can MixMonitor be debugged for things like privilege issues or filename issues? **I had this working at one point and then stopped working. Not sure what I changed. Request for option for use on an unreliable connection
I have been using rsync for the last year or so. Generally I am very pleased with the performance and features, but I am forced to use a rather unreliable link to one of my mirrors. Consequentially rsync often bails out with a protocol error in the middle of a large session due to transient misbehaviour on the link. This appears to abort the whole transfer. One solution would appear to be an option to log the error then attempt the next file in the set. Is there a patch to allow this? Has anyone had similar problems? TIA David Lambert

misbehaviour of some tk windows, R 2.6.0 on SUSE 10.1?
I don't know whether this is specific to (my installation of) SUSE 10.1, or is more general. With R 2.6.0, I am finding that some widgets made through the tcltk package are having problems which become evident through scrollbar activity. An example is demo(tkfaq) -- see below. To reproduce the problem, I do the following: after the tk window appears, hold down the

W2K3 HVM with gplpv shows strange pings
...me=-23538ms TTL=128 Reply from 127.0.0.1: bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=128 Same result with external addresses (which I checked first, when I found that iScsiInitator doesn''t work any more) Apparently the xen pci driver also installs the "High precision event timer", so I suspect a misbehaviour in the gplpv driver. Any clues? Regards, Andreas _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

GPLPV 0.10.55 net misbehaviour
I''m using W2K2 32bit on a 3.2.1 Lenny-amd64 host. While the pv disk driver works as expected, I encounter problems with the network driver. I tried several installation scenarios, all with the same result. My test looks like this: I install gplpv, but without letting the networking driver install. After reboot I RTL8139 ist still active and working, and gplpv devices manage the disks.

one brick one volume process dies?
...e brick fails in one vol, when it happens it's always the same vol on the same brick. Command: gluster vol status $vol - would show brick not online. Restarting glusterd with systemclt does not help, only system reboot seem to help, until it happens, next time. How to troubleshoot this weird misbehaviour? many thanks, L. .

[PATCH] dsync: fix splitting login from host
Using strchr() was splitting login and host at the first occurrence of '@' which leads to troublesome behaviour. When calling strace one would notice the misbehaviour: execve("/usr/sbin/ssh", ["ssh", "-lthomas", "domain.org at 10.8.13.2" using strrch() however splits login and host at the last occurrence of '@'. How to give system and virtual users their own mail_location?
Hi all. Now hopefully as a new thread because I still have this question. Apologies to Geert and Timo for my misbehaviour...(repling to the list and changing the subject). I hace Dovecot rc12 working on Mandriva 2007.0 now for system accounts and virtual accounts both imap and imaps can be used. Th problem now is that I cannot use both types of user at the same time. The 'mail_location = ' strings are very di...
