password is incorrect
Hi , Surprisingly enough , my samba started not mapping previous days,
giving the error "The pasword is incorrect. Try again later" from windows
98. But the previous week , i could map anything with no problem..So I
started checking samba, searching samba faqs and archives . Diagnosis
tests could not clear the situation for
me , so I decided to upgrade to latest version. Still i have the

xmms-plugin problems
Hi,
i'm using xmms-plugin from flac-0.9, i found following problems.
Back-seeking cause, that .flac is not played all. It's caused by
StreamDecoderPrivate variable samples_decoded and function
stream_decoder_frame_sync_, which compare it against whole length of stream.
I don't know what is meaning of this varible (samples decoded from last reset
or for whole life of decoder). So i

Good Admin tool ?
Hi all,
Just wondering what Samba administration tool is the most frequently used ?
What tool do admins use daily ? I've tried Cmd line / Samba tools, Swat,
Webmin, LAM... and still haven't found a full-featured one and
*user-friendly* one...
Many Thanks :)
Ganael.

new cmd-line, decoding troubles
I tried to use new command-line behavior.
When i do 'flac -d -c -fb foo.flac', it gives to stdout wav data
instead of big endian raw data as i expected, but 'flac -d -fr -fb -c'
works fine. I think -d -fb should implied -fr.
And when i give it multiple files like 'flac -d -c -fr -fb foo1.flac foo2.flac',
it decode only first file.

Yes, it goes pretty well. I think #define RESERVOIR_TEST can be default, when
that '_' typos are corrected.

I assume you're using the DOS shell? because all unix shells I know
will expand the globs first so this syntax cannot work anyway.

Replacing WinNT 4 PDC with Samba PDC
Hi All!
Thanks to all of you that responded to my previous posts. I've gotten a lot
more info now than I used to have!
But I still have questions. The biggest right now is: Is there a way build
up a Samba PDC as a direct replacement for an existing Windows NT 4.0 PDC?
All the material I've found to date is written from a standpoint of creating
a new domain as you create the Samba
