[PATCH] use "--just-symbols" for compatibility with LLD
LLD uses "-R" as an alias for "-rpath", while LD uses "-R" as an alias for "--just-symbols". Use "--just-symbols" so that it's correctly supported for both linkers. See Linux commit 3c1918c8f54166598195d938564072664a8275b1 (riscv: fix vdso build with lld). Signed-off-by: Bill Wendling <morbo at google.com> --- scripts/Kbuild.klibc | 2

The Empire Strikes Back
Unbelievable! These guys get more and more disgusting each day. But now I have a proof that Linux and all its free software community (samba included) are indeed growing and are indeed consideder a threat by M$. Expect more and dirtier moves. Can you guys point me to more material on the subject? []'s, Juan > From: "Le Quellec, Francis" <FLeQuell@Teknor.com> > >

Samba (old) and shared printers on MS Win 2003 SBS
...Who'd design a business network with printers on the workstations anyhow? Whatever, any ideas where to begin? Can someone tell me how recent a version of Samba he could upgrade to, given that he's stuck with the kernel he's using now because of his apps? Is RODC password replication different from the windows version by design or is it a bug?
Hi, I've tried replacing some 2012R2 RODC by samba-4.9.4 RODCs. One question about password replication: Samba wiki (https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Join_a_domain_as_a_RODC) states that samba RODC acts as a proxy server to a writable DC if users are not member of the Allowed RODC Password Replication Group, which is the behavior we knew (and what we want) from the MS RODCs. Our test

Samba kills network.
When i try to swap files between disks on my server using samba i get errors: then windows reports "The specified network name is no longer available". Sometimes the copies are fine other times files just wont copy. Hardware checks out fine. Ive even replaced the network cable between server and switch thinking that might be causing the problem. Ive included a ethereal cap of the
