rsync over ssh performance problem in cygwin
Hello!
We have strange problem with rsync performance.
We do files syncronization from w2k (cygwin, rsync 2.5.6) over ssh to
Linux (rsync 2.5.5).
We have several 10Mb files.
First time, when directory on Linux is empty, all looks OK-
syncronization takes about 10 minites.
But when we try to do this second time, i.e. with files on Linux and
windows, synconization takes more than 10
minites for _file_ !
And, ssh process on windows eats about 90% of cpu :-(
Any ideas?
btw, certanly, linux-linux works ok in the same situation.

Windows 98 cann't connect to
Hi,
I tried your suggestion (I assume the "server" = hostname, because there
is no server name defined in smb.conf), still can see the problem. This
time, I even could not see my linux box from Network Neighbor ?? (This
happened before, I was not always be able to see it. Windows seems to
update its cache each 10 minits which will erase any unaccessable
computer names, that may

Help: host system got very slow when run guestfish
Hi there,
Recently, I got a strange phenomenon, when I run:
./run guestfish -a xxx.img -a xxx.img
My host system got to be very very slow for several minites,
sometimes can`t even move my mouse. I am not sure what I have done made
it this way.
How should I investigate this issue? Because I don`t see anyone got
this kind of problem in FAQ
Thanks in advance.
Yours Sinerely,

[LLVMdev] subtle problem with inst_iterator
Hello, I think there's a rather subtle problem with the inst_iterator. It
declares its iterator category as std::bidirectional_iterator_tag but C++
standard requirements for forward iterator (which are included in
requirements for bidirection iterator), say that the type of expression
*r;
should be T&, where 'r' is the iterator and T is its value type. The

Hi,
I've been modelling some data over the past few days, of my work,
repeatedly challenging microbes to a certain concentration of cleaner,
until the required concentration to inhibit or kill them increaces, at
which point they are challenged to a slightly higher concentration each
day. I'm doing ths for two different cleaners and I'm collecting the
