rsync over ssh performance problem in cygwin
Hello! We have strange problem with rsync performance. We do files syncronization from w2k (cygwin, rsync 2.5.6) over ssh to Linux (rsync 2.5.5). We have several 10Mb files. First time, when directory on Linux is empty, all looks OK- syncronization takes about 10 minites. But when we try to do this second time, i.e. with files on Linux and windows, synconization takes more than 10 minites for _file_ ! And, ssh process on windows eats about 90% of cpu :-( Any ideas? btw, certanly, linux-linux works ok in the same situation.

Windows 98 cann't connect to

(This happened before, I was not always be able to see it. Windows seems to update its cache each 10 minits which will erase any unaccessable computer names, that may explain why when it first boot, I can see linux box, even unaccessable, then it dispeared after a couple minits). The smb.conf listed here shows those of uncomment outed. All the others are as defaulted. Do you think this could be a sa...

[LLVMdev] subtle problem with inst_iterator
...ntics that you should know about. In particular, the instruction list > is more like a std::list<Instruction> (but that allows polymorphism) than > a std::list<Instruction*>, Yea, I've noticed that. However, it looks like inst_iterator is iterator over pointers. Oh, wait a minite, that's the current code: inline IIty operator*() const { return BI; } inline IIty operator->() const { return operator*(); } So operator* works as if value_type is Instruction*, but operator-> works as if value_type is Instruction. ...a standard basic pppoe connection..... and I can't with centos. I follow this standard setup: http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/enterprise/RHEL-4-Manual/sysadmin-guide/s1-network-config-xdsl.html tested on two different centos installations, but no. I spent 4 hours I think and needed two minits on my debian installation. Both rp-pppoe and ppp are installed, please someone tell me what am I missing before I totally loose it :-) ? kai # tail -20 /var/log/messages Aug 29 21:40:35 localhost pppd[21465]: pppd 2.4.2 started by root, uid 0 Aug 29 21:40:35 localhost pppd[21465]: Using inte...

[LLVMdev] subtle problem with inst_iterator
Hello, I think there's a rather subtle problem with the inst_iterator. It declares its iterator category as std::bidirectional_iterator_tag but C++ standard requirements for forward iterator (which are included in requirements for bidirection iterator), say that the type of expression *r; should be T&, where 'r' is the iterator and T is its value type. The inst_iterator,

I'm doing ths for two different cleaners and I'm collecting the required concentration to
