mime yaml
First off, apologies if this is addressed.. I didn''t find anyone
having the same problem (which usually means the problem is me!)
I''m running the standard command to start a Rails server, with
additional custom mime YAML:
mongrel_rails start -m /etc/mongrel_mime.yml
Content of the /etc/mongrel_mime.yml is only a single line:
.xml: text/xml
However, the custom mime

[fdo] Shared Mime Info
Hello
First I don't know if this is the correct list, so please point me
further if it isn't.
I noticed that the shared-mime-info contained this entry for the Ada95

[SURVEY] MIME types questions for Mongrel 1.0 RC1
I need people to answer a survey super quick for the next little release of Mongrel. Basically, nobody ever agrees on mime types, especially defaults, which is why Mongrel has none and you set your own. Sometimes people just refuse to set their own and want Mongrel to do everything for them, but if that happens then people will complain about the defaults.
Damned if I do, damned if I

TablEdit runs from install but not after
On Ubuntu 10.10 and Wine 1.2.2.
I downloaded and installed the .exe for TablEdit. During installation the last choice the installer gives is to launch the app after install is complete. I do so and the app launches. However, if I close the app and try to launch it from wine or drag the executable into a terminal to run it, it won't start and I get a serious error notification.
If I delete the

Re: Ogg Internet Drafts - create application/ogg-vorbis, application/ogg-tarkin, etc.
Dear David,
I hope it's ok to forward your email to the developer lists. I have not
seen a comprehensive scheme for MIME type naming and file extensions for
ogg files yet - please anybody put me in the picture if there is.
However, I have seen application/x-ogg used for ogg-vorbis files, which
is according to MIME type registration rules an unregistered and
experimental MIME type (see

~/.mime.types - format conflict with standard /etc/mime.types?
Hi,
It seems that wine (or rather cxoffice) installs a non-standard
~/.mime.types file, and that makes other programs (e.g. lynx) die. Is
there a bug here? Whose?
Its format differs from /etc/mime.types (from the mime-support package
on debian etch):
# Users can add their own types if they wish by creating a ".mime.types"
# file in their home directory. Definitions included

Missing MIME-Version header in e-mails.
Hi,
I notice that in src/lib-mail/message-parser.c, there is a section of
code that checks for the presence of MIME-Version before allowing
processing of the Content-* headers.
Is there a possibility of relaxing this rule? There are some broken
mailers, in particular newsletter mailers that do not seem to honour the
MIME-Version header, though they do send the Content-Type.
Cheers.

Hi,
after the last upgrade to Dovecot 2.2.24.2 (d066a24) I see an increased
number of errors "Broken MIME parts" for users in dovecot log file, here
an example:

Ok, I will try to do this but should I do some backup of INBOX earlier?
