R GUI for Linux
I have downloaded and tried to install JGR - Java GUI for R - Version 1.5.
I followed all the instructions (at least in my best resolution) and
installed Java latest version.
R installation complete fine.
Has anyone succeded in installing JGR on SuSE 10.3 ?
In the following I hade detailed the failed installation,
As root /i did the following:

Trying to mount with minimalist smb.conf
I am trying to mount a share on a remote machine using a miminal
smb.conf as suggested in the Samba HOWTO.
Nmbd and smbd are running on the target machine.
The calling machine (server?) has the name of the target (linda2) in
/etc/smbshares.
When I try to mount I get the error message:

troubleshooting a custom passdb module
...ech members can join computer to the domain, I get a error
message. Even with level 10 dumps it is hard to see where the problem
is.
Our user database contains all the normal UNIX account info, uid, gid,
etc. When it comes to Samba it our user database only contain LMHASH
and NTHASH.
What are the miminal fuctions I should provide to passdb, currently I have:

Domain Trust and smbclient error.
...command on another box (different version of
samba/smbclient), it fails. The log file shows that at the same point of
authentication, there's some pop_sec_ctx calls and then "unix
authentication failed for user username".
I'm scratching my head at this point..
my smb.conf is miminal, security = user, encrypt passwords = no
any ideas?
