NFS error 101, again
Hi, I've got another one... NFS error 101 with NFSROOT has been discussed a lot, and hpa gave an answer to it which appears right. It's ENETUNREACH, and I suspect my diskless box does not set its IP parameters right. PXElinux is set up as follows: label linvdr kernel kernel-linvdr append initrd=initrd-linvdr acpi=off root=/dev/nfs \

FW: NFS error 101, again
...l#ss3.4 for a complete explanation of the parameters The second argument (ommitted here - was not being used) is the nfs server I have found that all of the relevant parameters need to be specified or TCP will not configure Hope this helps. How can I eveluate trailing numbers in extensions.conf?
...g/wiki-Asterisk+variables I believe that should have the answer for you. furthermore assuming that your number is always going to be 12 digits. exten => _NXX.,1,SetVar(mynumber=${EXTEN:0:12}) - will give you your number. Hope this helps. simulate PXE boot from Etherboot ROM?
Hi, is there any way to simulate a PXE boot from an Etherboot ROM? Background: I am using PXES in a customer project. PXES supports bootsplash only via pxelinux. The customer machines only have old ISA network cards for which there appears to be no PXE boot rom so I have to use Etherboot. Maybe one could build an NBI image from pxelinux.0 somehow ??? Use a newer etherboot image as a second

Is there any SCCP patent issue?
if you buy ci$co phone with correct firmware licence (skinny or sip), you can use it, what you want, especialy true with sip (because callmanager doesn't even support sip phones ;-) PJ Harald Milz wrote: >Hi, > >So - is there a legal issue with using SCCP in >Asterisk, or using Cisco phones with Asterisk? > >Any legal insight would be welcome! > >/hm > > >

Red Hat 7.1 installation
Please excuse what is probably a dumb question from a newbie. I'm trying to upgrade to samba 2.2.7a. When I attempt to install the RPM, I get a series of about 50 errors all in this format: <path><file name> from install of samba-2.2.7a conflicts with file from package samba-2.0.7-36. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

SuSE 9.0 PXE boot problem
Hi, since my notebook's CD-ROM drive is dying slowly I tried to install SuSE Linux 9.0 Prof. from my existing PXE/DHCP/TFTP server which already has working configs for 8.0 and 8.2: label 8.0 kernel kernel-8.0 append initrd=initrd-8.0 acpi=off apm=off install="nfs://192.168.20.1/pub/suse/SuSE-8.0" label 8.2 kernel kernel-8.2 append initrd=initrd-8.2 acpi=off apm=off

How do I pick up a trailing number in extensions.conf?
Hi, my SIP provider sends me all the numbers that are dialed, i.e. when a number is appended to the phone number proper, it gets appended to the incoming number, like (my number is 0123456789, and I append a "5"): To: <sip:491234567895@sipgate.net>;tag=as1174b008 Question is, how can I use the trailing number in extensions.conf? This is ideal for a direct dial through to an

printer shares: PDF queue
As you know, Samba up to and including 3.0.8 contains a share "pdf" which is meant to convert an incoming postscript job to PDF. At least in SUSE Linux as well as the Sernet RPMs this is broken because as documented "print command" is ignored if Samba is compiled against libcups and "printing=cups" (see smb.conf man page lines 4564 ff. in 3.0.8 and Chap. 18 of the

printer shares: PDF queue and AD integration
Hi, after taking a look at the samba-3.0.9 Sernet packages I see that smb.conf is in the samba3-client package not the server package. This smb.conf lacks about every pre-built share we had before. Anyway... I posted this before but no answer yet: As you know, Samba up to and including 3.0.8 contains a share "pdf" which is meant to convert an incoming postscript job to PDF. At least
