matrix from sequences
Hi all, I have a data frame with sequences of x and y from a map. I would like to know it both ways: 1. How to make a matrix from that; 2. how to make a data frame of all points in a map. Probably it is a silly question, but please tell me where to read about it or tell me how to do it. Miha Staut

Automation of c()
...of read.table() commands, which you write to a file and execute them with source(). I do not know however how to automate the combination of the e.g. x vectors from all imported data frames in a single vector avoiding the manual writing of all the imported data frame names. Thanks in advance, Miha

Do I need to install anything else for xgobi to work? I use R 1.6.1. on Windows 2000 platform or R 1.5.1 with RedHat 7.3 (none works). Miha

Bivariate interpolation
...o search through the J. Baron's page without luck. The problem is that I have got regularly spaced data (in x and y) what is not acceptable for interpp. I am not very much interested in the method of interpolation as the data are dense and the error would not be to high. Thanks in advance, Miha
