micky mouse sound with chan_capi solved?
hi all talking to this friend if mine just now, I realised I had no 'micky mouse' sound as eaerlier with chan_capi and AVM C2. We talked in 1 hour and 18 minutes without encountering any problems whatsoever. This was him calling me, but I don't know if that's important. roy -- Roy Sigurd Karlsbakk, Datavaktmester ProntoTV AS - http://www.pronto.tv/ Tel: +...

samba with customized ldap backend
Sir, As you told that Samba normaly set uid=Username and not the uidNumber. Here due some requirement we had configured ldap with dn uid="user's emp id" and it is very well working with all the services like nagios anonymous authentication, ssh, smtp, imap authentication, rdesktop means all the possible services but I am very badly stuck with samba authentication. For example

samba with customized ldap backend (fwd)
Hello Sir, I have also tried with nslcd and didn't succeeded. kindly advice. Regards, Arun -------------- Have you asked on the sssd-users mailing list about this ??? If you are using sssd then Samba ISN'T doing the authentication, SSSD is. is it ok to call speex_encode_int after speex_bits_write?
.... I've pegged it down to this: encoding some frames, calling speex_bits_write() and then encoding another frame produces a corrupt stream. My question is, is this a speex bug or incorrect API use? I can provide a test case (currently in python, will translate to c if needed). Thanks, Micky

samba with customized ldap backend (fwd)
Sir, As you suggested I have already done this settings ('ldap_user_name =username') 3 year back and due to this our users are able to login in various service like ssh, imap, pop by sssd service but not able to connect/authenticate by samba. As you know in my case due to our customized ldap which start 'uid=numericID' instead of 'uid=username' samba is not able to

gplpv: re-enabling the nic adapter removes it
I guess I have stumbled upon a bug in gplpv drivers. If you try to re-enable an nic adapter after disabling it, it just hides out of blue. And you have to reboot. Latest version of gplpv drivers and Windows 2008 R2 here. Anyone else noticed the same issue? I wonder if this is related to hot-plugging something like

qemu-kvm high cpu usage with idle windows guest
Windows 2k8 R2 guest with updated virtio drivers is idle inside but on the host qemu-kvm process uses 7-15% cpu. Things that have been tried without any significant success - removed tablet device - manually set cpu topology for cores per socket Is it just me or the qemu-kvm has little tolerance with windows?

Sir, My setup is able to Samba authenticate by using of SSSD or nslcd but I have to use 102220 (numeric) instead of username. Okay I will explore on nss-pam-ldap, let's see. Thanks for your support/effort/suggestions. Regards, Arun __________________ OK, you have a strange setup, I have suggested how you could possibly configure sssd or nslcd and neither work. ...mp of newly and earlier modified files, they were the same. Exact same! Because rpm and rpmverify also seemed to have been modified so I cannot trust 'rpm -V' package verification. Already did lsof and process tracing but to no avail. Does anyone have any idea how to find that culprit? -Micky. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... nobody owned smbd processes are not ending
...guest ok = yes map to guest = Bad User guest account = nobody which is where I suspect the nobody processes are coming from. I have implemented iptables-based firewall rules for the Samba server, and am seeing the following in /var/log/messages, I believe after the print occurs. ...@nav_buttons = NavButton.find(:all) end and I want to make it so that one of the class="nav" list items has an id="active" decided by a default variable for the homepage, which I will assign a value to as another section is clicked. I realize this is probably pretty micky mouse for most on this list, but I promise once I am up to speed on rails a bit more I''ll help the new guys around here :-) Cheers, Jason

VPATH build of R on MacOSX
I am trying to do VPATH builds of R3.1.3, i.e. binaries built outside the source directory. It works just fine on Linux but on Mac OSX (Mavericks) I get the following trace from make, after a successful configure step. Any insights gratefully received. make is GNU make 3.81 on both systems. bash-3.2$ make make make[1]: Nothing to be done for `R'. make[1]: Nothing to be done for `R'.

samba with customized ldap backend
I have to assume much, I'll try. So... - No AD, that's some NT4 domain. - No Winbind because Winbind is using samacccountname as user login and not UID. - Issue happens on Linux or UNIX clients. The question is what tool (SSSD, pam_ldap / nss_ldap, nslcd...) are you using to retrieve information from LDAP to forge users on system side. Once you get an answer to this previous question
