--quiet flag sets echo option to TRUE (PR#1083)

echo: logical. Only used in non-interactive mode, when it controls
whether input is echoed. Command-line options `--quiet' and
`--slave' set this initially to `FALSE'.
I don't think that this is correct for me.
Consider the following session:

ZINB multi-level model using MCMCglmm

Adding x-axis values to a histogram

Currently I see 4 x-axis values: 5000, 10000, 15000, 20000. Can I add more
values or modify the ones currently showing? I tried ?hist, yet couldn't
work this out.

Error using sqlite3

I''m under Windows XP, using cygwin, the sqlite3.dll file is on the lib

Transformar una base de datos a matriz
...ra tiene un n?mero de filas correspondiente al n?mero de especies. Mi objetivo es transformar esa base de datos a un formato de matriz donde, cada muestra sea una fila ?nica y las especies sean las columnas, con su dato de abundancia para cada muestra. Lo equivalente en Excel es crear una tabla din?mica donde: muestras en filas, especies en columnas y abundancia en datos.

merge maps from shapefile to lattice

create it using IDW, and kriging methods, I want from shapefiles (*.shx,

Title obscured when using par(mfrow) (PR#3463)

an otherwise superfluous call to "text") fixes the problem.
This seems to be true regardless of whether my device is x11, postscript, or
pdf. The diff of the Postscript files (without and with the "text" command)
may be illuminating to some experts:
