Is there an equivalent * operator?
...t;) data.s1 but when I do data.s1 I get "0 rows or 0-length row.names". Any idea of a simple way I can perform this task? All dates are in the form xx-xxx-xx, EG 30-Sep-06. ...How can I run it, do I need to use source? If so, how do I supply the arguments to the function? Or does it need to be saved in a particular directory? Do I need a different file extension? Opening files from R terminal - appologies

Very confused with class
...on the data before I reassigned the classes were fine. What is wrong with the class numeric? Reading the numeric help page didn't reveal anything to me. Can someone suggest the correct class? Restructuring Hadley CET data
...or two really clumsy ways of doing it with 'for' loops and the like, but I can't think of a *neat* way of doing it in R. Making 2 dimensional vector from the 3 dimensional one
Hi All, I want to make a 1 dimension vector from the first two dimensions of a 3 dimension array, so make a 2 dimension vector from a 3-dimension one, with "fusing" (making as.vector) the first two dimensions. saving an object
Hi there, I have a dataset stored in an object which has very huge volume of rows.I want to reuse it for comparing with other datasets.I dont want it to reload every time i run the script.Is there a way of saving a particular loaded object in the workspace and reusing it.
