Static files have vanished.
...changed, they are only updated when a computer is installed or removed and the frequency of this, as you can guess, is not such that these files should never(vary rarely ever) be considered vanished. Nevertheless consecutive runs indicate they are in a state of perpetual vanishing. Cheers! Clone disk image common ancestry/branching.
...tore.img qemu-img create -o backing-store.img $currentimg.tmp qemu-img create -o backing-store.img $newimg # Get any existing VM using $currentimg.tmp mv $currentimg.tmp $currentimg The idea being to create branches of an installs ancestry rather than simply duplicating the install. Monitoring qdisks and classes.
Are there any tools like iptraf or top to display tc stats? I would like to see things like flowes(TCP or UDP connections) as well as simple per second stats. I''m trying to monitor my p2p uploads and network connections to see if things are getting into the right class. I used to use mrtg for this, with some perl scripts I wrote. This project of mine has long since bitrotten.

HTB: 3. Sharing hierarchy
On http://luxik.cdi.cz/~devik/qos/htb/manual/userg.htm... There is a nice explanation on how/why to setup a hierarchy with HTB. Howerver what is missing is how to setup finters for this case? I had this working when I was using a seperat qdisc for each ?layer?, making each HTB only one level deep. Described in the attached qdisc.sh.GOOD. Described in the attached qdisc.sh is my current script,

Modems: Cable or DSL digital blunders that lartc may help with.
I have a Cable ''modem'' that has a problem that many of these devices is bound to have. I was wondering what other lartc user thought about this and if DSL has simular problems. Cable, being Asymetrical, is able to upload at a given rate and hopefully has a buffer, in the modem, of some kind. When I nc(netcat) to a UDP echo, or discard, server I get about 10Mbps out on my

I can't get Broadcast packets?
Hello, where is the FAQ on networking(Broadcast probes for hpjetadmin and other lowlevel hocus pockus) in wine, Half-Life and hpjetadmin don't seem to send probe/broadcast packets. I have tryed as a user and as root /w no change in my findings. Other PCs on the net don't show traffic in there tcpdump logs. It seams that jetadmin.exe dose not allow you to key in an IP(Currently

IPP2P: Simular project l7-filter.
http://sourceforge.net/projects/l7-filter/ Providse and posibly replaces your project. Thay use regex(in kernel space) to filter packets in much the same way you do. How ever regex is not going into the kernel! Here is a mail that describes the situation. http://lists.debian.org/debian-firewall/2004/02/msg00051.html Hopefully the l7 ppl will FINALY get a copy, now that I know thay
