How can I "declutter"/make a biplot less messy in R
I am doing a principle component analysis on a dataset with a lot of
different variables and have constructed a biplot of the data.
Unfortunately, as can be seen on the attached image, the biplot is very
messy, cluttered, and hard to read. I have performed a few modifications
including outlier removal from a few of the variables, which has made the
plot better, however it still is too cluttered

Cleaning up messy Excel data
Unfortunately, some data I need to work with was delivered in a rather messy Excel file. I want to import into R and clean up some things so that I can do my analysis. Pulling in a CSV from Excel is the easy part.
My current challenge is dealing with some text mixed in the values.
i.e. 118 5.7 <2.0 3.7
Since this column in Excel has a "<2.0" value, then R reads the

suggestions regarding reading in a messy file
I have a file in stata format, which I have read in, and I am trying
to create a text file. I have exported the data using various
delimiters, but I'm unable to read it back in. I originally read in
the file with:
library(foreign)
myData <- read.dta("mydata.dta")
I then exported it with write.table using comma, tab, and exclamation
marks as a delimiter.
When I was unable to

Your opinion please
The 1.2 firewall contains messy logic to support the old sample
configurations in that any rule that contains "none" in any of its columns
is ignored.
I''m considering removing that messiness in 1.3 and seek the opinion of the
list.
Thanks,
-Tom

dealing with a messy dataset
Is this a fixed width format?
If so, read.fwf() in base, or read_fwf() in the readr package will solve the problem. You may need to trim trailing spaces though.

Can you run this on both your DC's
wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/thctlo/samba4/master/samba-collect-debug-info.sh
bash samba-collect-debug-info.sh
As im seeing multiple "invalid parameter" message, we need to see more of the setup.
Anonimize the output if needed.
Run this on both DC's : touch /etc/samba/lmhosts
And that lmhosts message is gone.

Oh dear, you do have a borked AD, only one DC can hold an FSMO role at a
time.
