Using torrent in tcrules
Hi all, I''m trying to set up traffic shaping and I''m having some difficulty. Here is what I want, and where I am. 1. HTTP and SMTP traffic needs to be priority 1. 2. All other traffic priority 2 3. Torrent traffic priority 3. My distro is Fedora Core 4, and the torrent protocol does not appear in /etc/protocols. The only protocol is TCP, which HTTP and SMTP is built on top

ip frag / defrag latency.
--=-mIogSkSG8HjWN56JSL46 Content-Type: text/plain Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Tom, If you have connection tracking enabled, then you have auto-magically ordered all packets to be defragged is that correct? I wonder if there is any noticible latency, especially in on-line games with defragging packets. Are there any ways to make an exception - to avoid tracking certain

Kerberos5 / Heimdal
I have FreeBSD-6.1 and it appears the default installation has a full complement of Kerberos5. But, /usr/src/kerberos5/README states: This subtree is world-exportable, as it does not contain any cryptographic code. At the time of writing, it did not even contain source code, only Makefiles and headers. Please maintain this "exportable" status quo. Thanks!

off: live365 relay
A bit off-topic question: has anyone any experiences with the relaying service that live365.com has? what kind of stream(s) do they relay? what is the protocol they use? --- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ icecast project homepage: http://www.icecast.org/ To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to 'icecast-request@xiph.org' containing only the word

too many arguments in foreign function call
Hi all, I've just been working with a piece of fortran code (Leo Breiman's random forest code) that needs a lot of arguments. When I use .Fortran, I get the message 'too many arguments in foreign function call'. Neither the help page for .Fortran (actually Foreign) nor "Writing R Extensions" explains how many arguments are too many. Looking at the code in

USB boot problems on Gigabyte GA-M55Plus-S3G
...n. I will attempt an install of Clonezilla (testing) 2.2.1-22 via "manual" method, see what happens when I boot the resulting stick on my Gigabyte system, and then I'll post results here. Should be shortly. However I personally am still not hopeful, for the simple reason that, as I menioned earlier, I normally have a perfectly good 64GB SSD in the system in question (Gigabyte GA-M55Plus-S3G) and it is loaded up with Windows 7 and normally mounted into a simple/trivial sATA hot-swap bay. That works just fine. However when I remove that exact same SSD, drop it into an external USB 3...

Slightly OT: trying to mangle packets from Asterisk for a multiple ISP setup (reward)
Hi, Reward offered: 50$ (paypal), and I am sure this is a ridiculous thing I have missing. My goal: On a 2 NIC Asterisk box, to send packets that came in Asterisk on NIC1 back to NIC 1, and NIC2 back to NIC 2. (basically, send them back the same way they came from). I have been doing what was recommended to me and mangling packets left and right. I have reached a point where I am
