Hello Nutters, I'm running nut 2.7.2 on FreeBSD 10-stable (via the FreeBSD port) with an APC Back-UPS CS 350 connected via USB. I get persistent (every few minutes) messages logged "battery is low" but I don't understand why. I don't think it's for the reason described in the FAQ (but I'm not 100% sure). PAM problem: "no modules loaded for 'samba' service"
I'm running FreeBSD 3.0-current and have just upgraded samba to 2.0.0. Previously, I used unencrypted passwords. After upgrading, they didn't work so I changed to use encrypted ones. I can now map my drives from the PC. However, I still have a number of problems that I think are all related. - I can't use swat. The authentication always fails. I get a message on the console

Interesting behaviour of Win2k explorer with Samba 2.0.6
We've recently added a win2k (rc2) system to our local network and have noticed some strange behaviour with explorer on that system when samba network drives are attached. If you examine a local drive, or one exported from an NT4 server, explorer behaves as expected (I won't say "normally"...).
