How to menage decimals in order to obtain accurate estimates
Hi,
I'm trying to calculate some functions loop, unfortunately my data are
decimal numbers that not allow me to get an accurate estimate. I do not want
to use neither "round "nor "signif" but I would prefer to have all the
information available, (the function loop is generic so you should adapt to
all data, not just those in particular). The approximation error is

SIGCHLD race condition? (fwd)
Can anyone offer any advice on this issue? We've tried patching sshd to
have a maximum 10 second timeout when calling select() in serverloop.c,
and this doesn't appear to have had any ill effects.
Thanks,
Paul

R help with princomp and pam clustering
Hi all!
I am working with R package cluster and I have a little problem:
let's say I have two datasets...first one ("A") is divided into 4 clusters
by means of Pam algorythm.
Let's say I want to project the second database ("B") onto the Comp.1 X
Comp.2 graph, and see where its elements are placed.
The two datasets are made of different dim (54x19 and 28x19). I tried

IBM 4039 Laserprinter. Weird problem.
I have menaged to setup Samba services to share an IBM 4039 printer and have
tested another printer (Epson LX-800) on the PC. It works fine.
The weird thing, the IBM4039 will not print anything. All the jpbs will be
spooled. For each print job to be printed. I will need to switch off the
printer and switch it on again.
Have anyone encountered such problems before? I know there is basically

chrony configuration for secondary samba DC
Correct. But it doesn't answer my original question. How should one to
setup NTP server at his Samba DC that doesn't hold PDC emulator FSMO
role...
Moreover, what package is responsible, in this case, of machine time
sync: NTP server / client or SAMBA as AD client?
Dose samba menage time synchronization by itself or it delegates this
task to the local NTP server?

Exactly as you would set up as the PDC emulator DC, except the first
time server would be the PDC emulator DC.

FWMARK ROUTING OVER MULTIPLE ROUTERS/LANS
I would like to route ssh in my network via DSL2 and all other trafic via
DSL1.
So far I menaged to do it for LAN2 but there are still WLAN1,LAN3 and LAN1 to
go.
On all routers I added table "pilicka" with rule for fwmark and I fwmarked
ssh.
# ip rule show
0: from all lookup local
32765: from all fwmark 0x3 lookup pilicka
32766: from all lookup main

plot image matrix with row/col labels
I'm working with an historical image that may be (one of?) the first
uses of gray-scale shading to show the pattern of values in a
matrix/table, later used by Bertin in his 'reorderable matrix'
and sometimes called a scalogram.
The image is at

SIGCHLD race condition?
We use ssh (RedHat 2.5.2p2-5) heavily in non-interactive mode, for
managing servers from central controllers, and transferring applications/
data around networks.
Very occasionally we've seen the situation where the ssh client and
server are both stuck in select, both selecting on only the tcp socket
of the connection, and with no timeout. No children of sshd remain (even
as zombies), and it

[Question] power management related with cgroup based resource management
Hi, all
These days, I am interested in green IT area for low power OS
So, I have a question about it.
Is there any good idea or comments about power management related with
cgroup based resource management?
I have no idea about that, but it seems to be possible to find a good concept.
And I hope so
Is it some strange question? ^^
