memsize for HVM save/restore
...a patch for it. But then qemu broke, because it also require the memsize to locate the share page. We can''t use the previous method, as it requires a lot of changes in qemu. The memsize in xmconfig file is only used at the beginning of create, then lost when runing and restore. we have memory_{dynamic,static}_{max,min} for keeping mem config, but all of them are useless in this case. I have witnessed the fluctuation of memsize config: first as ''memory'', then ''memory_static_min'', now disappear. Guest memsize is an important parameter, so it should...

OCFS 1.2.4 memory problems still?
I have a 2 node cluster of HP DL380G4s. These machines are attached via scsi to an external HP disk enclosure. They run 32bit RH AS 4.0 and OCFS 1.2.4, the latest release. They were upgraded from 1.2.3 only a few days after 1.2.4 was released. I had reported on the mailing list that my developers were happy, and things seemed faster. However, twice in that time, the cluster has gone down due

ensure device private pages have an owner v2
When acting on device private mappings a driver needs to know if the device (or other entity in case of kvmppc) actually owns this private mapping. This series adds an owner field and converts the migrate_vma code over to check it. I looked into doing the same for hmm_range_fault, but as far as I can tell that code has never been wired up to actually work for device private memory, so instead of

dev_pagemap related cleanups v3
Hi Dan, Jérôme and Jason, below is a series that cleans up the dev_pagemap interface so that it is more easily usable, which removes the need to wrap it in hmm and thus allowing to kill a lot of code Note: this series is on top of Linux 5.2-rc5 and has some minor conflicts with the hmm tree that are easy to resolve.
