Multiple samba servers with LDAP
I was wondering what the best practice is for setting up several SAMBA
servers in a SAMBA domain all on the same LAN. Here is what I am
looking at
PDC: LDAP, Samba, nss_ldap, pam_ldap
Member1: Samba, nss_ldap, pam_ldap
Member2: Samba, nss_ldap, pam_ldap
Member . . . .
Should I set the member servers up with:
Security = domain
and join the severs with net rpc join
or, whould it be better to set them up with:
passdb backend = ldapsam:ldap://pdc.domain.com
security = server
Do you see where I am going? If you need more...

New feature in app_queue: Give members a penalty time for not answering (help testing)
...embers of a queue.
I would be very happy if someone could help me test this feature, and report
back to the issue tracker.
To test this feature, patch an asterisk-trunk source tree, set
notpresent-penalty to for example 30 seconds, set up a queue with three
members:
penalty, member
0, member1
0, member2
1, member3
Then call into the queue, and the queue calls member1, either take the call,
or neglect to answer it. He should now be unavailable for the next 30
seconds.
When the other members phone rings (member2), neglect to answer this phone
too.
Now both agents in penalty level 0 should be unava...

AD attibutes of the (in this case) member servers differences.
...or my user login on that server.
For the new setup i compaired my old proxy with my new proxy.
I noticed the old proxy is missing some attibutes in the AD object.
For example,
Samba member1 ( installed as 4.3.x ) upgraded to 4.5.3 here im missing : msDS-SupportedEncryptionTypes
Samba member2 ( installed as 4.5.3 ) is haveing them.
With the upgrades of samba, are these AD attibutes not all updated?
Now i have seen :
https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Generating_Keytabs
now after running :
net ads enctypes set computername$
Its added on the server it was missing, i...

I loose incoming call after transfer
Hello list.
An incoming call goes to the queue. Then is routed to a free
SIP-member1. When this SIP-member1 transfers the call to another
SIP-member2, and this SIPmember-2 rejects the call, then the
communication is lost.
How can I make the call go back to the SIP-member1 ? Or maybe back to
the queue ?
To transfer we use the 'transfer'-button on the Grandstream/YeaLink
IP-phone.
Greetingz.
Jonas.

concat and ordering

For the balancermember
order => "20-${listening_service}-${name}" // listening_service is == name

From speaking with other folks who use the module this does seem to work!
When I use it though, the members appear where ever the hell they want to
in the file.
I believe this is because concat is using the ASCII value of the string,
and that ASCII value could...

I have a database table called Roster which includes the colums "id" and
"name".
And then I have a table called matches that have colums "member1",

What I''m trying to do is to generate a checkbox for each member in the
Roster table into my matches controller.
In other words...
