Missing value handling for felm function in lfe package
...nction does. I wish to tell it na.omit or na.action = na.omit but it does not recognize this. I need to allow for missing values as I have different specifications and don't want to remove observations for all. Help on this will be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance and hope this is clear. Megha Megha Patnaik PhD candidate Dept of Economics Stanford University 650-868-6084 [[alternative HTML version deleted]]

Transparent Bands in R
Hello All, My question is regarding the attached plot. I would like to have multiple transparent green bands running the length (yaxis) of the plot the width of which is determined by the green lines at y=0 in the plot. Can you suggest a way to do it? For those who can't or are unwilling to download the file the plot is at http://www.twitpic.com/ma8w0 Thanks!

IRT - Item Information Function: ltm package
...any test yet. How can I do this? Also how can I plot the ICC for any item if I just have the item parameters, difficulty and discrimination but not the fit object? Is there someway to plot the curve using the formula given under 2 PL IRT model and the values for a and b? Thanks and regards, -- Megha Student, Chennai Mathematical Institute Chennai (India)

Suggestion for installation of R
AFAIK the short answer is no. Longer answer is yes, but you would have to invest some likely significant effort into learning how to compile source code for Android operating system. It has been done before. -- Sent from my phone. Please excuse my brevity.
