From the WIki features page, ( http://wiki.dovecot.org/moin.cgi/CoreFeatures ) it's not clear to me if the dovecot-stable release supports multiple authentications mechanisms (like in 1.0-testxx). I need both virtual domains and system users. Can I use the stable release for this? Thanks, --Micha

...e laptop isn't in the etc/hosts file with a static IP I can't use it and since I don't know the IP address I can't use that either. Is the solution to find out what the ip address is each time I plug into a new location and then manually enter it into the file or is there some other mechinism? Dear all, I've already install new samba 2.2.5 at Redhat 7.3. Some configuration of smb.conf has been tested using testparm and no error return. Using LinNeigborhood I can access some files and folders of windows PC. But from windows I can't access samba directories and files. Error report from windows is Network path was not found.
